The urban redevelopment starts from Piazza Italia going along Viale Roma up to Piazza Martiri Perugini reaching the entrance of the Acquasanta Factory plant, and branching out along Viale Guido Baccelli. The work is composed of four areas:

Piazza Italia, where the creation of a large 1,700m2 square is planned, to experience both in the summer season as well as in the winter one, eliminating the existing fountain and gazebos and completely renewing the pavements.
Viale Roma, where pedestrianisation is planned, with the creation of a covered route alternating fountains with green areas in addition to commercial spaces and meeting points.
These last two are to be created using a suitable compositive kit leaning towards the different functional purposes and including boxes in glass and steel and a system of projecting roofs called “glass trees” that make up the covered walkway.

A partially covered shopping center, proposed between Piazza Italia and Largo Ascoli makes use of the natural slope of the earth, being set on three levels, the first level as a public car park, the middle as commercial space and the other level, covered, intended to be used as a public meeting area.
